Conflicts Within The Workplace Conflict - 1405 Words
While conflict is a part of social relationships, there are many conflicts that are escalated beyond the normal day-to-day interactive conflicts. Day-to-day interactive conflicts such as disagreeing about what to cook for dinner or when to mow the lawn are inevitable and for the most part, relatively easy to negotiate. However, more serious conflicts arise during the course of daily living as well: in which religion to raise children if parents come from differing ideological backgrounds or how much to spend on family vacations. Daily living and conflicts within the family are not the only conflict, however. Conflicts at work, in social situations, in political debates, and in global issues create tension in daily life as well. I also gave them my class schedule at that time and let them know when I was available to be scheduled, and both agreed that there should be no scheduling difficulties as I was part-time and there were several other people who worked in the department where I would be working. During my first few weeks at the sporting goods store, things went smoothly. I was trained by the lead in my department, and the supervisor checked on my progress occasionally. When it came time to work on my own, the supervisor left a schedule in my work mailbox, as he did for everyone every two weeks, and I noticed that he had scheduled me for several shifts during times that I had indicated I was not available due to classes. That day, I approached my supervisor and let him know that I could not work some of my scheduled shifts. He told me that he was sorry about the scheduling, and that he would correct it on the next schedule, but for now, I would have to work the shifts on the schedule. I told him that I could not, and he

The role of christian women vs islamic women Essay Example For Students
The role of christian women vs islamic women Essay The Koran vs. The Holy Bible? The Bible is the word of God that is a cherished throughout the world and translated in many different ways. There are believers who try to follow the word of God the moral way through The Bible. The Koran is a book that tries to guide believers in the right direction, because they decided that the Jews and Christians disobeyed Gods commandments by dividing themselves into sects. In result, they tried to differentiate themselves by learning their true religion of Islam, absolute submission. We will write a custom essay on The role of christian women vs islamic women specifically for you for only $16.38 $13.9/page Order now By reading more and more of the Holy Bible and the Koran I have seen mostly similarities which was not the goal of the Koran. One of the largest similarities between the Koran and the Holy Bible is the portrayal of women. The role of women in Ancient Israelite and Early Islamic concepts show how women are a substandard to men. In the Holy Bible, the point that women are inferior to men is clearly identifiable. In Genesis 3:16, it says, To the woman he said, I will greatly increase your pangs in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children, yet your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you. In the Bible there are many quotes that explain that men are above women or that they have authority over men. In the Koran it says, Men have authority over women because God has made the one superior to the other, and because they spend their wealth to maintain them. Women are also looked at as objects or not equal human beings. The Holy Bible, Exodus 20:17 says, You shall not covet your neighbors house; you shall not covey your neighbors wife, or male of female slave, or ox, or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor. Why is the wife, let alone the slave, put in the same category as objects and animals? This looks like women are a type of property. The Koran supports this bizarre idea that women are like animals and says, Keep aloof from women during their menstrual periods and do not approach them until they are clean again; when they are clean, have intercourse with them whence God enjoined you. It even goes as far as this, Women are your fields: go, then, into your fields whence you please. Do good works and fear God. The words of the Holy Bible and the Koran seem offensive towards women, but hopefully the harsh words are just used to better describe the situation.A small difference that is evident within the rights of women is how they cover themselves. 1Corinthians 11:3-6 says, And every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head. ..If a woman does not cover her head, she should have her hair cut off The Holy Bible says that a women must wear something on her head while she is praying and if she doesnt, its a disgrace. In a more extreme case the Koran says that women should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty (24:31). Generally, the Holy Bible and the Koran present similar ideas for the role of women. One of the texts may go deeper into a particular topic while the other may just touch on it. The differences are very rare, proven above with the example of how women should cover themselves.

Essay about My School Life Essays Essay about My School Life Paper Essay about My School Life Paper After finishing his writing ,he picks up someone randomly from the group of students and ask that questions. It does not require deep reading of the topic to answer those questions; one can easily answer those questions just by doing overview of the topic before that class, so by answering that question correctly student can build self confident and also it encourage others to read about the topic before the class. Unlike other teachers in his the class room, Mr Shahs teaching method is totally different. He wont use his notes or book, instead he asks students to read it from the book and then he explains that on board so in that way student not only understand topic by listing but simultaneously reading that from book. That also creates excitement in student while reading among all other students and that also enhance reading skills of the students . Unlike Mr Shah during his class Mr Patel always do presentations using power point that makes topic not only interesting but also easy to understand. During class presentation he always uses some interesting pictures and videos which attract students so students can understand remember that topic easily. Mr. Shah also does non traditional activity like going on field trip during quarter that gives an clear idea about subject and better understanding by putting live example infornt of students. For instance we visited discovery museum and science centre during class. The purpose of that trip was to take science learning out of class room and moves it in to real world. I was really impressed from this teacher. His methods not only creates an excitements in class room but also make me study and try perform better and better in class among other classmates and finally lead me to good grades in chemistry. While in Maths class we do not have to write down final exam paper instead Mr Patels class required that student have to present that their work as a individual or part of team , In that class we did presentation of solving quadratic equation using mathematics software, that was really challenging and was also fun to work and learn with new software to solve maths problem that makes us to think about different available software in todays world and choosing best for our application that gives us an idea about latest technologies and latest development the field. Even though my both the teachers have totally different personalities and method to teach their students, I have no doubt to consider both of them to be an effective teachers even with different presentation, teaching methods, standards. They improved my life a lot, due to their inspiration today I am able to peruse my masters in analytical chemistry at California state university, los angels. With out doubt I can say that both are very effective teachers for me.
